Leia now resides in the picturesque North Carolina landscape after spending a considerable amount of her life in Northern California, surrounded by the vivid art image of the San Francisco Bay Area. She had a strong foundation for teaching others thanks to her background in painting and drawing as well as her minor in art education. Her imaginative development has included both representational and abstract styles in figure painting. Leia's logical artistic process is influenced by her interest in societal psychology as a whole and the dynamics of interpersonal relationships. Leia has a truly encouraging method of art. In her workshop, participants explored their individual histories, environments, and cultural experiences through their artwork as she fostered a welcoming and educational atmosphere. Attendees were urged to create meaningful connections with kind, lighting, place, color, nature, and their surroundings by tapping into their inner creativity.
As a teacher, Leia inspires a sense of grounding and focus through her heart-opening presence. Participants learned from her extensive training and used art as a medium for expressing emotions, encouraging contemplation, and finding comfort in the creative process.
Leia Langston just hosted her workshop at My Muses Card Shop on the 25th of June, but don’t worry if you missed it! She’ll be coming back for another workshop soon.
