The Old Well: A Love Letter to Chapel Hill

There are few sights more iconic in Chapel Hill than the Old Well, standing gracefully beneath its dome of white columns. For generations of students, locals, and visitors, it has been a place of reflection, inspiration, and quiet joy.

At My Muses Card Shop in downtown Carrboro, artist Abhi has captured this beloved landmark in watercolor,  soft washes of Carolina blue mingling with the gentle greens and warm stone tones that surround the well. The artwork, now featured on our new Chapel Hill Postcard, is a tribute to the timeless spirit of the town we call home.
