Join Maia Rhenish and Emily Shearer for a sacred ceremonial evening of deep rest and radiant reflection. Summer Solstice invites us to pause and honor the turning of the wheel with presence and reverence. Rather than overextending, we will soften, surrender, and let go-o-o-o.

This solstice gathering weaves together the ancient, restorative practice of Yoga Nidra with the healing resonance of a Sound Bath attuned to the frequencies of the Sun and the fire within.

During this journey, you will:

• Harmonize with the rhythm of Mother Nature

We’ll begin with gentle movement to invite spaciousness into the body, then settle into the nourishing stillness of Yoga Nidra. Known as the “yoga of sleep,” Nidra allows you to reset your autonomic nervous system and achieve deep rest. Emily will guide you in systematic breath-work and sequential relaxation while Maia offers intuitive soundscapes layered with vocals, singing bowls, and other vibrational instruments.

This 1 1/2 hour session offers a portal  into deep rest and meditative reflection that will leave you basking in your own celestial glow.

Sound Healing Practitioner/Vocal Embodiment Coach

Maia is a sound practitioner, musician and energy weaver. She guides her clients to their highest vibrational essence using her voice, soundscapes, deep listening and her connection to the natural world. She has studied and created music for 30 years and is a Shamanic Reiki Master. Emily Shearer

Emily Shearer is a registered yoga instructor and Reiki master specializing in yoga nidra, modification support, yoga for chronic pain and trauma awareness, and deep healing at a physical and spiritual level. With a background in nia and modern dance, creative movement and self-expression in the arts, she brings a medicine bag bursting with healing magic, joy and FUN to all her pursuits. She was December 2024's featured artist at Moxy Fox Gallery in Carrboro NC. Emily offers private personalized sessions at Lotus Studios.

This class is limited to 15 students. Cancellations by My Muses Card Shop will receive a full refund. Cancellations made 1 weeks or more before the event may receive a full refund. Cancellations made up to 3 days before the event can receive a 50% refund. No refund or exchanges for cancellations less than 3 days before the day of the class.
