Machine pieced using DAIWABO selection (Ombré) for E.E. Schenectady Company; various black & white prints; background curvy stripes by Kaffe Fassett.

Made for the Common Thread’s Stitcher’s Mystery Challenge 2024 during which quilts were created given monthly prompts with just a hint of how to construct it. The prompts were: Stash Audition, Make a Base Quilt, Chop it up and sew it together in a New Way, Rotate the Quilt at least to a 45 degree angle and stitch to a background, Add extra’s/Embellish using any technique, Finish Edges or not.

The backing uses leftover pieces from the front.
