Calling all herbal tea lovers: If you want to create your own herbal tea blends, this is the class

for you! Join herbalist and owner of Sequoia Herbals (known for her tasty healing teas) to learn

the art of herbal tea blending!

Herbal teas are a simple, soothing way to bring the healing benefits of herbs into your home. In

this introductory class, you'll learn the basics behind herbal tea formulation and preparation,

and even get a glimpse into herbal energetics!

We will cover:

• Herbal tea preparations, including hot/cold infusions and decoctions
• Introduction to herbal energetics: learn what your tastebuds are telling you about the
• medicine of an herb!
• Learn to use your senses to create a balanced, delicious healing herbal tea
• Get creative and make your own blend to take home, from our dried herbal tea bar!
• There will be demos, hand-outs and plenty of teas to taste!

This class is open to beginners and more experienced herbalists alike. No experience needed

(just a love of herbal tea :) ) Please register early, space is limited.

Artist bio: Lisa Fouladbash is a Clinical Herbalist and owner of Sequoia Herbals. Her herbalism practice is
rooted in a deep respect for the earth and plants. Through herbalism, she is committed to
building a healing system based on compassion, body autonomy, equity, accessibility, and
connection to nature. She offers holistic consultations, handcrafted products and classes.
