Service Description:
Join us for an intuitive tea tasting! As a group, we’ll use our senses to discover the benefits of a
“mystery” herb. This practice, called organoleptics, involves using sense of smell, taste, and
touch to gain a deeper understanding of an herb’s medicine and energetics. You don’t need to
be an herbalist to experience this- if you’ve ever felt warmer after drinking spicy ginger tea,
you’ve already done this!
We'll start with a grounding group meditation to calm our minds and connect to our senses. As
you smell and sip your tea, you may notice certain smells, tastes, sensations, thoughts or
feelings that arise. After we share as a group, you’ll learn all about the herb and its benefits.
Many are surprised to learn that their insights are incredibly accurate!
This is a wonderful way to connect to your body, tap into your intuition and learn about herbs
in a community setting! It’s a great class for beginners as well as experienced herbalists. Note:
this is part of a series, each time we try a different herb!
Price: $25-35 (sliding scale available, please pay what you can. Suggested price is $30. If you can give a bit extra, this helps us support other students)
