Machine pieced in Japanese kimono fabric.

Some of them have a beautiful “Ikat” woven pattern.

Quilted with use of a Walking Foot.

In Remembrance of the March 1, 2011 major nuclear accident in Ōkuma, Fukushima, Japan. The direct cause was the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami which resulted in electrical grid failure and damaged nearly all of the power plant’s backup energy sources. Over 2,300 people died indirectly as a result of the disaster.
