Machine Pieced and Machine Quilted in Cotton African Wax prints from “The French Connection” in Pittsboro.

It was made to replace the quilt “Solar Plexus” that sold at the Carrboro Arts Center’s Theater. Some members of our local Guild (DOQ) had given quilts on loan to help with the acoustics in that rather “brick walled ” theater.

The piece came back to me when the Carrboro Fire Department disapproved of textiles being in the theater, as they were a fire hazard.

Good to know someone is looking out for our Safety.
