Location: At the Historic Haw River Sanctuary, a serene 30-acre estate in Alamance County perched atop a peaceful hilltop. Framed by towering magnolias and century-old pecan and walnut groves, the property features open meadows, a reflective pond, and pastures where horses graze contentedly. This tranquil setting, offers a haven for creativity and inspiration, inviting artists, writers, and nature lovers alike to connect with the land, its beauty, and its timeless charm.

Class size: minimum 4, maximum 10 participants

Step into the Sanctuary for a full-day watercolor immersion with Abhi. A journey where brush, water, and color come alive in rhythm and flow. From the first luminous washes to the layering of depth and form, this class will guide you through the essentials of watercolor while opening space for curiosity and creative freedom.

Together, we’ll explore:

• The play of water and pigment through foundational techniques
• The art of color mixing and creating harmonious palettes
• Building depth and form with glazing and layering
• Composing a finished seasonal painting, inspired by the beauty of September

Whether you’re new to watercolor or eager to deepen your practice, you’ll leave with fresh skills, a sense of ease with the medium, and artworks that carry both light and personal expression.

No prior experience is required, and all materials will be provided.

Artist Bio :

Abhi is born in Temple builder family in South India, Abhi is passionate about creating sanctuary spaces that resonate in harmony with the divine. For the past 8 years the has studied with master builders and temple architects in India. He research ancient power centers and the effects of sacred architecture and alignment on our energy field and heart space. Abhi Specialized  in the Vedic building manuals of ancient India and use this codified knowledge of frequency and resonance to design and align vibrant space, homes and communities for maximum well-being. Abhi also teaches art, and likes to share his knowledge with other enthusiasts through workshops, seminars and hands-on experimentation.

Cancellations made up to 3 days before the event can receive a 50% refund. No refund or exchanges for cancellations less than 3 days before the day of the class.
