Join me for an afternoon of intuitive watercolor painting, with a special Fall Equinox writing prompt at the end of the class! Art is a wonderful way to get in touch with our emotions and inner landscape, through an intuitive art practice we can meet ourselves on more intimate levels. I’ll guide you through the meditation, and at the end of the class invite you to write a letter to yourself reflecting on your meditation. Fall is a great time of change and there’s no better way than to go into the season mindfully, intentionally, and with a clear understanding of your inner landscape.
ALL materials will be provided, including a beautiful handmade card of your choice from Kathmandu, Nepal to write your letter on!
I look forward to celebrating this change of seasons with you, see you there!
Artist Bio :
Emilie Apel is a multidisciplinary artist working with ink, watercolor, and acrylic. As a self-taught artist, she enjoys hosting meditations and courses empowering others to explore their own inner terrain through creating art. Living in a world that is in desperate need of acceptance, peace, and love, she finds herself creating art with hopes the viewers will find moments of love and healing through the work. She is also a strong advocate for the Earth as a sacred place, and hopes to share works that will inspire people to take action for the greater good of the human species (and every other species on the planet). In addition to working on drawings and paintings, she is a photographer, digital artist, writer, and poet. Her writing explores deeper truths and human consciousness on an intimately personal level, and her film photography is focused on her deep connection to nature and the land she inhabits.
